RxCe ACPE-approved courses will satisfy the Missouri Medication Therapy Management (MTM) CE renewal requirements.

This Missouri requirement is focused on Disease State Management/Drug Therapy. An easy solution is to look for the word 'Management' or 'Decisions' in the RxCe course title, the learning objectives, or the topic overview of the CE associated with the course involving disease states or details on drug therapy. A CE focused on one prescription medication will also satisfy the requirement. Many RxCe courses can be selected for the Missouri MTM requirement, under the RxCe website tab category titled: "Disease State Management/Drug Therapy"

Examples include:

  • A Guide for the Management of Crohn’s Disease
  • A Guide for the Management of Streptococcal Pharyngitis for Pharmacy Teams
  • Abscess Management: A Guide for the Healthcare Team
  • Alzheimer's Disease Management and Caregiver Care
  • Aura You Ready: The Pharmacy Team’s Role in Migraine Management
  • Direct Oral Anticoagulants (DOACs): Challenges and Decisions
  • Lecanemab-irmb: A Treatment Option for the Early Stages of Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Lipid Management: Beyond Statins
  • Under Pressure: Prevention and Management of Pressure Injuries
It's important to remember that a few CE modules, such as polypharmacy and deprescribing, are too broad and will not satisfy the Missouri MTM requirement. The Missouri Board of Pharmacy can also be contacted at 573-751-0091 for additional Disease State Management/Drug Therapy CE renewal questions.
